One of the best kept secrets in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain are the area local parks. Rarely crowded, full of free fun for the family, we wanted to make park information available to our Best Western Guests for quality entertainment while visiting.
Pigeon Forge Community Center Off Wears Valley Road, next to the city park. in PIgeon Forge, TN 429-7373 Open to visitors for a daily fee with childcare available. Features a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, bowling center, racquetball courts, walking track, and fitness center. Various aerobic and aqua classes available on a walk-in basis. Operates from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
All of these wonderful parks are located within 10 minutes of Best Western Plaza Inn. Patriot Park where the annual Patriot Festival is held each year is in our back yard! Don't miss out on these treasures in our community.

Sevierville Park

Sevierville Park, Located on Park Road, is a beautiful park with all the amenities, such as a Seasonal Swimming Pool, Walk Trail around the park, a woods area and river, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis areas, and a large wooden play area called Mount Ton of Fun! Picnic tables and pavilion reservations are also available, to reserve a pavilion, please call the Sevierville Community Center.

Pigeon Forge City Park

Pigeon Forge City Park, located by the Pigeon Forge Community Center and behind the Kroger's. The Park is next to a river, and is in the area of the Community Center and Library. The park features Swimming Pool (at the Community Center), 2 separate playgrounds, 4 softball fields, basketball court, tennis court, soccer area, 2 pavilions, and picnic tables. Pavilions can also be reserved. To reserve, call the Pigeon Forge Community Center.

Herbert Holt Park

Herbert Holt Park, located before Cooters, as your coming into Gatlinburg, is a subtle quiet park, hidden away from the bustling city. It features a Pavilion, play area, a walk trail, and free fishing for kids under 12 in the river! The pavilion can be reserved, please call the Gatlinburg Community Center for reservations.

Mills Park

Mills Park, located just off highway 321 (stoplight #3) and below the Community Center, is a lovely area and famed locally for the Scottish Games they hold every spring! The park features a pavilion, a couple play areas, basketball court, soccer field, track field, and within walking distance to the Gatlinburg Community Center. The pavilion can be reserved, please call the Gatlinburg Community Center for reservations.

Mynatt Park, located in Gatlinburg, is another beautiful, expansive park with all the amenities. This park features: A large pavilion, large picnic area, houses nearby, tennis and basketball courts, baseball field, 2 separate play areas, and free fishing for kids under 12! Patriot Park

Patriot Park, located next to the Historic Old Mill, is a great example of "Less is more!" The park is a big, wide open space featuring a walk trail around the entire park, flags of all 50 states, a historic missile, a pavilion and gazebo, and The Winterfest Lights! Also in the area of the Old Mill complex, featuring a bakery, candy store, toy store, pottery store, several craft stores, a creamy, as well as the Old Mill Restaurant and the Old Mill itself!
